On November 17 MGAP held its annual meeting at the Radisson University Hotel
Lorna Fox, MGAP President, welcomed those in attendance and introduced Vice Provost Jerry Rinehart.
Jerry spoke about how the Greek community had a positive and important impact on the university community as a whole. He spoke about many topics including the status of the Greek Village and the proposed changes to the city ordinances regarding unruly gatherings. Jerry asked Council Member Paul Zerby and Deputy Chief Johnson to also speak on the topic.
Jerry also spoke about the importance of alumni involvement and thanked MGAP for all of its work.
Kat Baugher, Chair of the University Greek Partnership Board (formerly Greek Action Council), spoke about the change in direction of the group and what it would immediately focus on including recruitment, academics and risk management.

Chad, Abby and Lech gave a recap of the past year focusing on recruitment. An update was
given on the status of the Partnership Board Recruitment Committee.
Lorna Fox, MGAP President, provided a year in review highlighting the many projects,
programs, and initiatives that MGAP has started and been an integral part of.
Board Elections were held to fill two officer vacancies and the four 1-year At Large positions. Congratulations to:

Officers are elected by the board at the December meeting.
Fundraising was the topic for the house corporation members in attendance. All agreed that this
should be the topic for the spring semester house corporation meeting.
Information on Educational Foundations was provided by Mark Roberts, Delta Tau Delta
Educational Foundation
General fundraising techniques were provided by Paul DeBettignies, MGAP and Delta Kappa Epsilon Chapter Advisor, as they have worked with a local bank to secure a loan.
Greek capital campaign information was provided by Lorna Fox, MGAP President, using materials provided by Mary Mulier, Pi Beta Phi House Corporation.
