Recruitment
Panhellenic Recruitment was finished on Monday, 9/18. The highest number of women bid matched since 1998:
- Matched 155 - zero women not matched
- Quota 17, with 3 chapters receiving Quota Additions
- 7 chapters matched to Quota, 1 missed by 1, and 1 missed Quota by 2
- Percentage of Open House pool of PNMs matched was 85%, up from 79% last year
- Retention has improved significantly

-Pass the Football between the Metrodome and the new stadium site 12:30 pm
-Stadium Ground Breaking Ceremony, Oak and 4th St. 2 pm
-Football game: Minnesota vs. Michigan 7 pm
UGPB Update
Recruitment Results were discussed (see above)
A Recruitment Roundtable will be held in October to recap Recruitment and talk about next year.
U of M Police talked about efforts to increase patrols with the increased crime rate in the neighborhood.
Communication
Return to a bimonthly e-mail schedule in September: 2nd and 4th weeks of month
All announcements/communication for e-mails are due to Erika (copy Lorna) by 5 pm on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
Erika will send the e-mails the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays - evenings
All officer reports and MGAP meeting agenda items are due 3rd Tuesday by 5 pm to Erika and Lorna. MGAP agenda will be e-mailed out by noon on day of the meeting.
MGAP Membership
AFA (Association of Fraternity Advisors) Presentation
Lorna Fox. Carol Warren, Paul DeBettignies, and Chad Ellsworth will present a session on forming an Alumni group at their annual convention 11/30-12/3 in New Orleans.
Football Passing: MGAP will be a participating group along with the Panhellenic Council and IFC. We will have a banner to identify us.
Alumni Involvement
Happy Hours – the next Happy Hour is planned on Thurs., 10/12 from 5-8 pm at the Local in downtown Minneapolis,
Annual Meeting: 11/16 Program ideas – stadium update/presentation? Lorna will start working on the agenda.
Board Members: 2006-07
Are current Board members interested in staying on? Need to potentially recruit new people.
House Corp. List Serve: sent out the e-mail to the MGAP list.
2006-07 Dues Mailing: Rick and Lorna will work to get this completed in October.

Minneapolis Boarding Ordinance Change
Ordinance passed. Due date is still in November and we still have a 30 day grace period. The fees did increase.
