Greek Community Planning Session

On Saturday June 15 the Greek Community Planning Session was held. Carol and Paul attended on behalf of MGAP. Also attending were representatives from Panhellenic Council, Order of Omega, University Greek Partnership Board (formerly Greek Action Council) and Chad Ellsworth, Greek Advisor.

Goals of the day were to create a calendar of events for 2005-2006, streamline programming focusing on not over programming and creating emphasis in areas for groups like Order of Omega and Rho Lambda. All agreed MGAP should continue to use its experience and volunteers to support the councils. MGAP will likely take the lead on jobs, internships, career planning, and an event in February.

Not all of the areas were adequately covered so another yet to be determined meeting will occur in July. Minutes from the meeting were sent out via email to participants and those that showed interest in the meeting but could not attend.
